The kayaks are simply rented, so there's no instructor with you.
Good to know: no canoe, kayak or paddle trip rented from a professional without a qualified guide is allowed in the Calanques National Park. You must stay within the protected zone.
Our kayaks are Sit on Tops, which are very stable and accessible to beginners. There's no skirt, so there's no fear of getting stuck if you capsize. It's easy to get back on, and the water drains out of the hull by itself.
Of course, freedom rhymes with autonomy, and your responsibility at sea is your guarantee of safety. Under these conditions, you'll enjoy every minute of the ride, and will have only one thought in mind: "When's the next time?
We supply all mandatory safety equipment, such as life jackets, waterproof canisters, paddles etc... ID and a 300? deposit are required.
Archipel can cancel the rental if the weather is bad for your own safety.
