Let me introduce you to my passion for macramé, an ancient nodular weaving technique that never ceases to inspire me.
For the last 3 years, I've been fascinated by the beauty of products made from macramé. My inspiration gives me great freedom to create and experiment, resulting in beautiful pieces such as wall panels, lampshades, bags and much more.

I work in white earthenware, mainly on the wheel. I love this light, fine, soft clay and leave parts unglazed to develop the sense of touch. I combine my passion for drawing with that for ceramics, graphics and design. Like a blank sheet of paper, I draw on my biscuits according to my inspiration.
My influences tend to be organic and graphic, and I enjoy interpreting the nature that surrounds me to transpose it into my pieces, both in terms of design and form.
In my marine series, I experimented with shapes inspired by coral and shells. Sometimes I matrix real elements directly onto my clay, fabrics, doilies or lace.
I play with the effects of matter using textures and colours, whether with oxide juices, tracings or enamels. To extend the range of possibilities even further, I work with combinations of materials, in this case wood, which often reveals the earthenware.

Fascinated by trees, I work with wood to transform what is usually destined to be lost or burnt.
I'm particularly fond of local woods, especially fruit trees. All these wood scraps or firewood are transformed into wooden crockery (for the most part) and decorative objects.
Each object is shaped according to the characteristics of the wood, and each one is absolutely unique, depending on my inspiration.
I only use reclaimed wood, which is burnt, gilded with fine gold, pyrographed and textured. The wood is treated naturally with my beeswax. My approach is to reuse all types of wood to create objects with shapes that are worked in a way that respects nature as much as possible.

Companion crockery is a kitchen utility that brings a presence, tells a story or simply says hello. It includes plates, cups, jugs, vases and serving dishes.
It accompanies people who find themselves alone, but also finds a place at large tables. There are words, flowers, animals and characters.
She allows herself the luxury of simple words, childlike drawings, shy subjects.
shy subjects. She doesn't show off, doesn't rhyme, and borrows the shapes of the containers she comes across. She tries to be poetic, repeating motifs like pieces of the sky. There are plants on salad bowls and birds on our dessert plates.
In Alsatian, there's the phrase "Himmel un Ard" between heaven and earth. These are poor people's meals made of potatoes (earth) and apples (sky). I think it's very pretty, and I'd like to sit there too, between the plants and the birds.
My crockery is made up of one-off decorated pieces, in stoneware fired at high temperatures. It is turned or stamped. The decoration, made up of oxides and colourants, is laid on a raw glaze.
*Marguerite CAILLÉ - FELTED WOOL MELLO - Felting artist
Discovering felted wool allows me to create a whole world of little characters.All soft and cute, they are staged to create poetic evocations. I like to take my time to give each of my creations a personality and a specific expression.
The technique I use is called quilting and involves using a special needle to stitch carded wool (pure virgin and organic) to tangle the fibres into a dense, solid mass. The more you stitch the wool, the more the fibres become entangled, the felting becomes firm and allows you to sculpt, giving free rein to your imagination.
I want to share my joy of creating with you through my little creatures, and I hope they bring you joy.
*Peggy ERRAKI - ATELIER RETOUR A LA TERRE - Ceramist
Earth has always been Peggy Erraki's medium of expression. She works in porcelain and earthenware. Her creations evoke nature and the golden ratio. Leaves and shells grow and develop by digging into the material, retaining the imprint of the plant, the original mineral.
She sculpts her rings on her finger, the earth turns around the body to adorn it, and the body gives life to the piece. Each piece is unique and requires a meeting with the person who is going to wear it.
In a sculptor's approach, some pieces are cast in bronze. This alloy, which dates back to the earliest jewellery or monumental sculptures, takes on the dimension of contemporary jewellery, with each piece worn becoming a sculpture to be worn. His gesture is inscribed in the material and moves on the body, an extension.
The studio is based in Villers sous Chalamont, a small village in the Haut Doubs region of France, surrounded by forests from which I draw my inspiration.

I'm a carpet maker and, in fact, a carpet merchant!
I create unique pieces, rugs and objects for warm, healthy and ethical environments.
Originally a landscape designer, I love nature, art and being touched by the essence of a place, a person, a detail that brings back a conscious or unconscious memory, an emotion. Behind each work, there is my energy and the depth of the material, the herd and its breeder, the landscapes in which they evolve and the craftsmen who have taken care of these fibres.
It's taken me a long time to understand what inspires me and what makes me want to surpass myself. Beyond the materiality, the proportions, the shapes, the stories of the encounters I have made move me and all this guides me towards these felt creations.
So, beyond the objects, I also offer you the values that I uphold and defend:
Respect for animals,
respect for people and their work
Respect for nature and the countryside.
All my creations are made from local sheep's wool, known as rustic. I like to play with and highlight their uniqueness: their colour, the thickness of the fibres, their plant content, everything that makes them so difficult to use in yarn.
100% of the wool I use comes from French and/or Franche-Comté farms, and from expert wool-makers who uphold the same values. All the wools are of the highest quality, but each has its differences.
My creations are handmade, unique and some are made to measure.

My project focuses on phobia.
The subjects addressed in my work are personal and inspired by my own experience. Most of my work uses ceramic sculpting techniques. Through my various drawings and sculptures, I try to question the society in which we live.
At first glance, these works are pleasing to the eye, but on closer examination they are disturbing. The representation of inflamed, irritated and sometimes even bloody human skin symbolises the fragility of man in a violent society. Body parts are associated with plant elements; elements of nature can be personified to represent human suffering, as in the sculpture of gherkins.
The mediums I work with most are watercolour for the research study and ceramic sculpture for the final realisation.

Self-taught, I experiment with this technique in a thousand different ways, driven by the magic of colour.
The shapes vary: geometric, simple, symbolic, imperfect.
Inspired by nature, architecture or motifs from ancient civilisations.
From rectangle to moon,
From circles to leaves,
From rhombus to arrow.
It's the simple wonder of contemplating colours and raw materials that I want to convey.
In the reflections of transparency or the depths of opacity.

Le Bocal is an exhibition space dedicated to arts and crafts.Every month from April to December, it presents a different theme, highlighting the many facets of the craft.
The 95m2 gallery, run by an association under the 1901 law, is located right in the heart of the town, whose history is divided between rock salt mining and a tradition of creating hand-painted ceramic tableware.
