Stop off at the old 19th-century washhouse, pass by the Bernay stone town hall, enjoy the lovely view at Vinay and discover the 12th-century church of St Vigor.
Approx. 11km south-east of Sillé-le-Guillaume.
Start/Finish point: In front of the reception bungalow at the municipal campsite.
? Follow the signs to the old wash-house. Cross the Place des Halles and pass in front of the town hall.
? Take the Chemin de Faneu on the left.
? Continue along this road, and at the traffic circle take the left-hand exit.
? Go down the track and turn right at the bottom.
? Drive along the railway line before crossing the level crossing.
? Turn left towards "Beaulieu", go as far as "bas Vinay" and climb up to "Vinay".
? Turn left just before leaving the village, and as you go downhill, you'll be able to admire the view of Conlie.
? At the intersection, go straight on to the stop sign, respecting the crops. Then turn right.
? Follow the railway line to "Le Noyer", turn left under the second bridge. Cross the bridge. Drive past the secondary school. At the school traffic circle, take the first right towards Sillé.
? Then turn left into rue Bel Ebat; at the calvary, drive alongside the cemetery.
? Turn right into rue du cimetière and pass behind Saint-Vigor church.
? Turn right in front of the church, towards Tennie.
? As you leave Conlie, take the Chemin de Vau on your left, and keep going straight on until you reach the lake.
