Inaugurated in 2017 in the heart of Marseille?s antiques district, Double V Gallery aims to be a singular exhibition space where diverse art forms, generations and notoriety rub shoulders.
Its director Nicolas Veidig-Favarel proposes a different relationship between gallerist and artist, guided by the emotion generated by works that invite pleasure as much as debate.
He invites the collector to perceive the work as a living, meaningful organism, with which he or she will have to live; and makes the gallery a warm meeting place where artist, gallerist and enlightened art lover come together in the same collective adventure.
Double V affirms its determination to become a venue for the international art scene, with a particular focus on emerging artists: Ugo Schiavi, Manoela Medeiros, Alice Guittard, Maximilien Pellet, Caroline Denervaud, B. D. Graft ...
In May 2021, Double V continues to expand with the inauguration of a new 80m2 space in Paris, in the Marais district. The aim is to extend the spotlight on its artists while retaining its Mediterranean roots.
