The nude exhibition, on view from 3 April to 28 December 2024, is the result of a call for projects issued in November 2023 to artists based in Clamecy and within a 100km radius of the town. Artists were invited to submit between one and three works in the fields of painting, drawing, sculpture and photography. The competition attracted a large number of entries. A jury selected 176 works, which are on display in the museum's temporary exhibition space.
Visitors to the exhibition are invited to vote for their favourite work until 20 September, by placing a ballot in a ballot box. A prize of five thousand euros will be awarded by the town of Clamecy to the artist whose work wins the most votes.
Another prize, also worth five thousand euros, will be awarded by the town to an artist, by decision of a jury of elected representatives and experts.
