Since its premiere, Lovetrain2020 has been causing a tidal wave! Impulsive, joyful, baroque, Emanuel Gat?s "contemporary musical" conjures up the gloom with decibels. In the wake of the pandemic, the French-based Israeli choreographer decided to go against the general mood, drawing on euphoric urban dance, revisited classical movements and the virtuosity of dancers who slip into the interstices of light and sfumato, only to reappear in all their brilliance. This hymn to love and life, danced like a crazy farandole, carries everything in its path and leaves a feeling of shared exaltation.
