Pataquès

Eurydice, in her wedding dress, has been waiting for her husband for three thousand years. According to legend, he should have come to fetch her from the Underworld. But he gave up because he ran out of time. A second woman is on the run, fleeing her marriage. Cassandra, who no one listens to any more, tries to unravel the secret of the "cosmic Big Bang" and get us thinking about dopamine. Patriarchy and our various forms of conditioning are at the heart of this trio's reflections, as they enthusiastically seize on the languages of theatre, dance and circus. For the occasion, Sylvain Ohl has designed a set centred on a Chinese pole, complemented by a table and overturned chairs, reinforcing the contrasting points of view between acrobatics and domestic space. It's a world woven from singular perspectives, invented from scratch, where it's good to be jubilant for an evening.

For ages 13 and up.
This show is an in-house creation and new for the 24-25 season.
