Sauvage

A need to escape leads three schoolchildren to go deeper and deeper into the forest, gradually becoming one with their surroundings. This search for wildness is not insignificant? A one-woman show that conducts an investigation into living things, reawakening our vivid, sensory memories.

Her view of her surroundings is disarmingly simple and acute. She sees, hears and feels in a singular way. She tracks traces of the living in the midst of the urban. Outside, something calls to her. When she opens the door, her sensory memory awakens, and with it her years at boarding school. Their little gang of three regularly escaped. She would escape into the forest next door and, from one escapade to the next, would go deeper and deeper into it.

Compagnie LOBA takes us on a journey of inquiry into the living world, as this rapprochement with nature could not last. One day, the Savage summoned his opposite?
In a pared-down, graphic scenography, suspended rods are transformed by the light to evoke the boarding school, the factory and the forest. Annabelle Sergent brilliantly interprets this multi-voiced tale, which takes shape through a sensitive text that conjures up sensations and landscapes.
