Shannon Wright, American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, releases her eleventh album, Reservoir of Love, on February 7, 2025.
It embraces the essence of her art, in a gesture that is both ample and direct, teeming and restrained in a handful of eight lightning-fast songs. For over 25 years and since her first solo album (Flightsafety, 1999), she has been carving out a path of songs whose intensity is sometimes embodied in electric rock blazes, sometimes in heart-rending ballads, and whose melodies, always stunning, are adorned with choirs and strings, the warm sound of a Wurlitzer, a guitar and a piano played in a unique way.
