"To have nature as a workshop, to be able to watch a flower blossom or a leaf unfurl. Then scribble in a notebook to create a leaf ladle, a flower cup, plates and light jewellery.
I dreamt it, I made it real.
I married the earthenware pottery of our region with its plant finery to give life to the "jewels of the seasons". It's a piece of earthenware, combining the plant imprint technique with other research so that the plant can give a delicate relief to my creations.
Finally, fire sublimates the union. The colour reveals the subtle passage of the seasons when nature falls asleep and the golden hues of autumn follow the fading chlorophyll.
My creations are emotion... the emotion aroused by a landscape, a light. Let them intoxicate you and make you dream.
