For this tour, meet at the parking lot between lock n°2 and lock n°3 and then climb up to Port Sainte Marie, or simply at the Plan Incliné parking lot. From the old lock ladder, where the souls of lock-keepers and bargemen of past centuries still live on, through picturesque pink sandstone rocks and shady forests, this tour takes you to the Plan Incliné, a symbol of 20th-century mechanical and hydraulic engineering.
