La Certenue

Culminating at 611 metres, you will find a terrace with a miraculous fountain and a chapel dedicated to the Virgin Mary and dedicated to Notre Dame des Neiges. This chapel is the vestige of a cult linked to fertility and whose pilgrimage took place at Pentecost. A mass is still celebrated here on Whit Monday. La Certenue is also a departure point for microlights and paragliders, which take advantage of the height to admire the Mesvrin countryside from the air. An orientation table will give you a better understanding of the view before you: on a clear day, you'll have an unbeatable view of Mont Jeu and Mont Beuvray.
