Concert hall and support platform for local artists.
In 1996, L'Affranchi opened in Marseille. The venue has a capacity of 380 people and was awarded the Scène de Musiques Actuelles label in 1998.
L'Affranchi fulfils a public service mission of the City of Marseille, in the field of contemporary music (distribution, support for artists, support for project leaders (labels, associations, artists...).
While keeping an eclectic program, L'Affranchi, honors urban music with the reception of most local artists, but also a large number of Hip Hop groups of national or international fame.
The structure is now recognized for its programming and its support for emerging artists or those in the process of becoming professional.
