Located some fifteen kilometers west of Strasbourg and a stone's throw from the airport, this agricultural village boasts a major economic sector that was developed in the 1970s.
The Saint-Arbogast church (1765-1846) is built around an old bell tower-porch, the base of which probably dates back to the Romanesque period. Inside is a Stiehr et Mockers organ (1818-1819), which retains an Empire-style case in oak with openwork reliefs inspired by fantastical iconography. The present-day fire station is housed in the former synagogue (1876), which features windows with horseshoe arches. At the entrance to the village stands a stele in memory of Jean Bugatti, who died here in 1939 while testing a racing car.
The village has excellent transport links: cycle path, train station, freeway access.
