Since 2012, the J'Go has returned to Marciac like the sheep to the fold, the jazzman to New Orleans, the Miura to the pike and the aesthete to Flaran Abbey, that is to say, with joy in its heart and the feeling of being at home. Once again this year, we are celebrating the excellence of the Gascon terroirs and this festival that challenges the preconceived notions of rurality.
Every summer, the J'Go comes with the best it has to offer: menus fed with noble products elaborated by farmers located for the most part within a 30 km radius and committed to sustainable agriculture and living soils, preserves and charcuterie of Noir de Bigorre pork, (jewel of the Gascon peasantry) straight out of our artisanal workshop in Hachan, at the foot of the Pyrenees, and encounters with charismatic winemakers, ecstatic ham cutters, magnificent farmers and fertile musicians.
Music, by the way, is more present than ever at J'GO Marciac, with live sessions throughout the day.
All this while putting everything back in its place: the bell tower in the centre of the village, taste in the centre of the plate, pleasure in the centre of the concerns, madness at the foot of the counter, calm on the terrace and the hut at the bottom of the garden.
