It has the plumage of a fairy tale and the ramification of a sharp beak. Agnès Régolo?s L?Oiseau vert (The Green Bird) tells the tragic-comic tale of Renzo and Barbarina. Abandoned at birth, the twins, in search of an identity, discover an unworthy stepfather, a neurasthenic father and a mother buried alive by a treacherous grandmother. Will they manage to find a little humanity in all this darkness? The play navigates a fabulous, timeless universe, carried by eight facetious performers and an original pop-rock score that reveals all its modernity.
