On stage, three women aged between 60 and 70 embody the unsettling transition to maturity. Surrounded by a variety of objects, they dance, experience and give. Here, they free themselves from society's injunctions, breaking with the techniques of body discipline that oppress and marginalize women. The aging body regains its place as a political element, but also as a sensitive material that enables us to exist in and experience the world.
In this new creation, Marion Blondeau continues her study of the flesh begun with Lilith, to put the power of the female body into dance. A questioning of our collective transmission practices, between organic know-how and socially-imposed taboos. Through dance, these women become spokespersons for an intergenerational feminism.
Performer, choreographer and teacher Marion Blondeau trained at the CMDC in Tunis, then at the École des Sables in Senegal. Her dance research focuses on fasciapulsology® and the quality of presence in performance.
