Located in the heart of the city of Châtillon-sur-Seine, the Théâtre municipal Gaston-Bernard has a 550-seat auditorium. Since its inauguration in 2006, the venue has been offering a quality cultural season with a wide range of artistic and cultural events (theatre, music, dance, singing, circus arts, creations for young audiences, etc.), i.e. more than sixty performances a year. As part of its artistic project, the TGB also hosts companies in creative residency, allowing audiences to meet the artists in action while they create their new work. This cultural venue, whose aim is to offer the best in live performance accessible to all, coordinates a programme of numerous cultural activities aimed at young audiences and the inhabitants of the Châtillonnais region. The audiences are very varied and fully intergenerational: moreover, at the Châtillon-sur-Seine theatre, people come from four different departments!
