Igor Toguzaev was born on January 31 in 1969 in Digora, North Ossetia, Russia. He graduated from the Higher School of Fine Arts as a teacher of drawing and painting in Vladikowkaz and from the University of Vladikowkaz.
From 1996 at the Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture I. Repine in St. Petersburg, he specialized in Graphic Design in the studio of V.A.Vetrogonsky.
He lives and works in Belgium and France and exhibits extensively in Europe and Russia.
He uses the techniques of acrylic, oil, and watercolour, and produces lithographs and etchings. His works can be found in museums and private collections in Europe and Russia.
