Jean-Claude Boisset - Les Ursulines

"We needed a place that reflected the personality of our parents, the history of winegrowing Burgundy, the preservation of heritage and a place with a strong identity.

A cellar visit and hand-crafted tastings in the image of the house wines. A place like no other, between renovation and architectural creation, a garden like in the time of the Ursulines.
The new Jean-Claude Boisset winery is a natural extension of the town's vineyards and a unique part of the winegrowing heritage. This building is the physical and spiritual extension of the former Ursuline convent, which lived here until the Revolution. Entirely dedicated to the elaboration of couture wines, it came into being with the 2018 harvest. The result of several years of reflection by the family, this winery includes the reception and vinification of the grapes, maturation in barrels and bottling.

Created in 1961, and family-owned, the Maison Jean-Claude Boisset signs bottles born in Burgundy, essentially in Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune, in a natural style; straight, precise, silky and resolutely fruity wines. Originalities and nuggets make up a collection of some forty hand-sewn limited edition wines inspired by the mosaic of Burgundy's climates.
