Le Château d'Arnajon

Built in the 17th century, this magnificent country house, reflected in the water of its immense Provençal pond, is a treasure of architectural heritage.

The entire site (except for the former farmhouse) was listed as a Historical Monument by prefectural order on 2 December 2010.

Now privately owned by the Pascal family, it was originally a hunting lodge. A chapel has been built on the western wall of the house, which boasts beautiful French-style gardens and a courtyard with a fountain.

The cold room, a remarkable grotto in Italian-inspired Baroque style, nestles at the foot of one of the dovecotes in this outstanding property.

The Queen Mother of England visited the Château in the early 1960s.
