L'Hôtel de Beaune

When the Jadot family, Burgundy merchants, decided to sell their 19th-century Hôtel Particulier, Johan Björklund immediately realised that it was the perfect place, but he wasn't yet sure what it would be used for.

When it opened in 2002, the ambition to create a 5-star hotel was born. Over the years, the hotel has grown and become a landmark in Beaune town centre.
Following a number of renovations, and the acquisition of the historic Monastery next door, the Hotel now offers 16 rooms, suites and flats just a few metres from the Hospices and Les Halles.

Johan wanted to create an experience in his hotel similar to what he would do at home: a family home. As a chef, the experience could only be complete with the opening of the signature restaurant "Le Bistro de l'Hôtel".
The cuisine is simple and friendly, just like a Sunday lunch, using local, seasonal produce.
