A wine-growing commune with a population of 945, Nordheim covers an area of 6.3 km2 some twenty kilometers west of Strasbourg. Protected to the north by a dry hill rising to 372 m, it is well known to all thanks to the TDF antenna installed at the top of the Stephansberg, which can be seen from a great distance.
Nordheim, which literally means "the dwelling to the north", has much more to offer than just the hill, with its remarkable views and unspoilt nature accessible via a variety of walking trails.
First and foremost, its vineyards, with their wines and crémants, which you can sample at three winegrowers' or in the village bistro. You can accompany these fine vintages with a variety of goat products from the Ferme du Cabri.
Nordheim is also a village of character, so stroll through its streets and marvel at its half-timbered farmhouses, the church of Sts-Pierre-et-Paul and its remarkable 200-year-old organ, have fun with your children on its sports field or discover its peaceful biotope.
Finally, if you'd like to enjoy our pleasant village for longer, you can stay in one of the 3 local gites and take advantage of the charms of our pretty village.
